Viceroy Santa Monica, CA
We are seeking an Area Marketing Manager to oversee marketing for Viceroy Santa Monica and Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica. This role will be instrumental in driving topline revenue, brand visibility, and market positioning for both hotels through the execution of integrated marketing strategies, seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and compelling activations and experiences. Working closely with the Area/Property Sales & Marketing leadership, hotel operations and food & beverage teams, and the respective Viceroy and Hyatt brand/corporate marketing teams, this role will bring each brand's initiatives to life at the property level while maintaining distinct identities and a strong sense of place within the Santa Monica and greater Los Angeles market.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with a passion for luxury and lifestyle hospitality, experiential travel, culture, food and beverage, and destination marketing—someone who can seamlessly blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution while managing priorities across two distinct hotel brands.
The Area Marketing Manager will have a proven track record in a similar hotel marketing role, ideally within luxury and/or lifestyle hospitality. This individual will be responsible for executing property-level and area marketing initiatives that align with each hotel's brand strategy, support commercial goals, strengthen local market relevance, and elevate the guest experience across all touchpoints.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, creative problem-solving, an understanding of luxury/lifestyle travel and Southern California market trends, and the ability to translate two distinct brand visions into impactful campaigns, partnerships, content, and storytelling moments. The Area Marketing Manager must be highly organized and comfortable balancing shared area opportunities with property-specific priorities.
