We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Area Director of Marketing to lead brand strategy and revenue-generating marketing initiatives across both properties. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive top-line revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand equity.
The Area Director of Marketing partners closely with Corporate Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Revenue Management, Sales, and Ownership to ensure alignment with brand standards and financial objectives. This position oversees digital marketing, public relations, partnerships, content strategy, community engagement, and creative direction, while maintaining accountability for marketing budgets and measurable return on investment.
Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive annual marketing plans and budgets aligned with revenue and RevPAR objectives.
Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to drive demand across transient, group, catering, and F&B segments.
Lead digital marketing strategy including SEO, SEM, paid media, display, retargeting, and meta-search initiatives.
Oversee content strategy across websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms to ensure brand consistency and conversion optimization.
Manage relationships with digital marketing, creative, and public relations agencies to ensure performance and ROI.
Act as liaison between on-property teams and Corporate Marketing to maintain brand standards and positioning.
Participate in monthly commercial and ownership reporting processes as required.
Oversee development and execution of sponsorships, partnerships, and cross-promotional opportunities to increase exposure and market share.
Manage production of advertising creative, photography, video shoots, and promotional collateral.
Ensure all marketing assets comply with brand standards and are delivered within established timelines and budgets.
Interface with Revenue Management on rates, promotions, and distribution channel alignment.
Update and maintain property websites and digital platforms with accurate marketing messaging.
Support community relations, philanthropic initiatives, special events, and experiential marketing activations.
Manage third-party marketing relationships including GDS, consortia, wholesalers, and cooperative partners.
Provide marketing support for rooms, spa, weddings, food & beverage, and special event initiatives.
Assist with package development, product positioning, and service promotion strategies.
Support familiarization trips, media visits, and brand activation events as required.
