Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Operations and Business Developmenet Analyst to support our hotel acquisitions, development, and operations performance initiatives. This New York-based, onsite role will partner closely with senior leadership to identify new opportunities, manage deal pipelines, analyze operational performance, and provide strategic support across our global luxury/lifestyle hotel portfolio.

Responsibilities

Operations Support

  • Analyze hotel performance metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, labor costs, etc.) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Create dashboards and reports to support regional operations reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Assist in developing and tracking KPIs across the hotel portfolio to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with property teams to gather data for benchmarking, process improvement, and cost control initiatives.
  • Support operational project rollouts, task forces, and special initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, and Human Resources to ensure alignment on development and operational goals.

 

Business Development Support

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis in target urban and resort destinations globally to identify and evaluate off-market hotel properties suitable for conversion to the Viceroy brand.
  • Identify and research prospective hotel owners, investment funds, and development partners, maintaining a robust database of key contacts and industry relationships.
  • Assist in the preparation, drafting, and management of transaction documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and initial term sheets.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks and investment memorandums that clearly articulate the value proposition of a Viceroy conversion for prospective partners.
  • Support the due diligence process by gathering and organizing critical financial, operational, and market data for target assets.
  • Provide direct analytical and administrative support to the President of Development, including preparing materials for meetings, tracking the deal pipeline, and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Finance, Real Estate, or other business-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate development, consulting, or investment banking preferred.
  • Underwriting and financial analysis experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from research and data analysis and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced financial modeling skills in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing reports or investment memoranda preferred.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed, with a strong eagerness to learn all facets of resort and hotel acquisitions and development.
  • New York-based onsite role.
